Achtet darauf, nicht zu weit unten zu messen, sondern lieber weiter oben am Hals. Legt das
Maßband straff (ohne Finger dazwischen) an den Hund. Die Halsbänder werden immer so
gefertigt, dass Ihr beim angegeben Halsumfang 2cm kleiner und 2cm größer verstellen
könnt.
Variante 2: Messung am Halsband
Verwendet die Einstellung, in der es immer getragen wird und legt das flexible Maßband straff
hinein. Als gegen Kontrolle, könnt Ihr auch nochmal am Hund messen. Der Halsumfang sollte
fast identisch sein.
ACHTUNG!
Zollstock und Halsbänder in der Länge ausmessen, ist keine zuverlässige Art den
Halsumfang zu ermitteln, da jedes Halsband unterschiedlich dick ist und somit verringert
sich der Innenumfang unterschiedlich.
Zugstop Halsband
Hierfür benötige ich zwei Maße: Halsumfang und Kopfumfang
Den Kopfumgang messt Ihr am Kopf direkt vor den Ohren (Zeichnung blau).
Möchtet Ihr ein Halsband mit diesem Verschluss bestellen, schreibt es mit ins Nachrichtenfeld mit
dem zusätzlichen Maß Kopfumfang.
Geschirr ausmessen
Achtung!
Bitte miss deinen Hund ausschließlich im Stehen aus. Wenn der Hund liegt oder sitzt, verfälscht es die Maße!
Bitte folge der Anleitung so genau wie möglich. So können wir für deinen Liebling die beste Größe auswählen bzw. eine optimale Maßanfertigung anbieten.

Das ist die Schulter oder auch Halsseite genannt. Die Schulter wird nur EINSEITIG gemessen. Nicht drumherum und es ist auch nicht der Halsumfang gemeint. Miss die Schulter vom Brustbein bis zum Nackenansatz. Das Brustbein kannst du ertasten, es ist der spitze Knochen.

Miss den Rückensteg vom Nackenansatz bis zu der Stelle am Rücken, wo der Bauchgurt verlaufen soll.
Tipp: Der Bauchgurt sollte bei kleinen Hunden ca. 2-3 Finger und bei größeren Hunden 3-5 Finger hinter den Achseln sitzen.

Der Bruststeg wird oberhalb vom Brustbein beginnend, zwischen die Vorderpfoten hindurch, bis zu der Stelle am Bauch gemessen, wo der Bauchgurt sitzt. Selten sitzt bei Hunden das Brustbein sehr tief. Achte dann darauf, das Maßband hoch genug anzusetzen.
Achtung: Bei einem Sicherheitsgeschirr ist der Bruststeg bis zum Taillengurt zu messen.

Miss den Bauchumfang bitte an der Stelle, wo der Bauchgurt sitzen soll. Der Bauchumfang wird einmal komplett rundherum gemessen. Achte darauf, dass zwischen Bauchgurt und Achsel genügend Platz bleibt.

Die Taille musst du nur messen, wenn du ein Sicherheitsgeschirr kaufen möchtest. Miss die Taille dort, wo die letzten 2 Rippen sitzen. Das Sicherheitsgeschirr soll NICHT in den Weichteilen sitzen.

How to measure the neck circumference correctly
Method 1: Direct measurement on your dog
Please make sure that you measure your dog's neck at its throat and not where its neck passes
into its body. Put the measuring tape tightly and without any fingers between your dog's
neck and the measuring tape around your dog's neck. The dog collars produced can be
shortened or enlarged by two centimetres.
Method 2: Measuring an existing collar
To measure the length of your dog collar adjust the width that fits your dog well. Then, put
the measuring tape tightly on the inside of the dog collar. It is a good idea to control the
length measured on your dog collar by measuring your dog's neck as well (see method 1). The
two resulting numbers should nearly be identical.
CAUTION!
Never use a folding meter stick to measure your dog's neck. Every dog collar is
differently thick. That is why the inner circumference will differ.
Slip collar with stopper
To produce a slip collar with stopper I need two measurements: neck circumference and head
circumference.
To measure the head circumference please measure directly in front of your dog's ears (see draft
in blue).

How to measure your dog for a harness
Important!
Please measure your dog only while standing. If your dog is lying down or sitting, the measurements will be inaccurate.
Please follow the instructions as closely as possible. This helps us choose the best size for your dog or create an optimal made-to-measure harness.

This is the shoulder measurement, also called the neck side. The shoulder is measured on ONE SIDE only. Do not measure all the way around, and this is not the neck circumference. Measure from the breastbone to the base of the neck. You can feel the breastbone as the pointed bone at the front of the chest.

Measure the back strap from the base of the neck to the point on the back where the belly strap should sit.
Tip: For small dogs, the belly strap should sit about 2-3 fingers behind the armpits. For larger dogs, about 3-5 fingers behind the armpits is usually suitable.

The chest bar is measured from just above the breastbone, between the front legs, to the point on the belly where the belly strap sits. Some dogs have a very low breastbone. In that case, make sure you place the measuring tape high enough.
Important: For a safety harness, measure the chest bar all the way to the waist strap.

Please measure the belly circumference at the point where the belly strap should sit. The belly circumference is measured once all the way around. Make sure there is enough space between the belly strap and the armpits.

You only need to measure the waist if you would like to buy a safety harness. Measure the waist where the last two ribs are located. The safety harness should NOT sit on the soft tissue.
